We believe God gives unique gifts to everyone for the purpose of working together for the good of others. We want to help you discover your gifts and put them to work! A great place to start is to check out these different opportunities:
Staging (Setup & Tear Down) Team
Since we are a "portable" church (meaning we have a trailer full of stuff that needs to be setup and taken down each week), this team is absolutely vital. Sunday's would be a whole lot different without them! This team comes early and stays after to make sure everything is in its place.
Welcome Team
Who likes to visit a church and NOT feel welcome? No one! Our welcome team members are the first impression of Anchor Church. As the saying goes, "The sermon starts in the parking lot". This team works together to make Anchor Church a warm and welcoming place to be.
Hospitality Team
People don't just come to church for the sermon, they come to connect. Our hospitality crew helps to create a space for connection and conversation before and after church. Not to mention, Sunday morning can be early (even at 10:30am) so this team makes sure the coffee is always hot and ready!.
Kids Team
Jesus loves kids and so do we. We want to provide safe, fun, and engaging environments for kids of all ages to experience God's love and learn the exciting stories of the Bible. Our kids team works together to make it all happen!
Worship Team
“Worship is our response to the overtures of love from the heart of the Father”, says Richard J. Foster. The Anchor Music team leads us in times of worshiping God together and helping us respond to God's love.
Tech (Production) Team
The Production team oversees all technical aspects of a service or event. (Lighting, Pro Presenter, audio, camera operators, etc.) They also record and stream the service and work with the Media team to produce animations and videos.
Media Team
Our mission at Anchor Church is to know God and to make Him known. To do that, we have to go where the people are and that is online. The Media team tells the story of who Jesus is and what He is doing at Anchor Church. The Media teams does that through digital art, photography, and social media.
